Imagine getting married in Lanzarote – at the stunning Finca Las Higueras in San Bartolomé, right in the heart of the black volcanic landscape. This is exactly how Charlotte & Harry’s big day looked, and I had the honor of capturing their special wedding as a destination wedding photographer.

The getting ready took place outdoors and in the bright, sunlit rooms, full of excitement. I loved every moment.

While getting ready, preparations were also in full swing for the free ceremony – beautifully officiated by the lovely Luisa, aka Wolfi (@wolfis.worte) – as well as the evening party. Everything was decorated so beautifully.

The chairs for the free ceremony were set up with breathtaking views of the volcanic landscape. Finca Las Higueras is truly the perfect spot for a romantic ceremony.

Just a few minutes’ drive from the finca, we did the couple shoot in Timanfaya National Park. In the most beautiful, soft sunlight, during the golden hour, and as a highlight: under the moonlight! It was the largest, most magical moon I’ve ever seen, and being able to shoot a couple in this setting as a destination wedding photographer was simply incredible. Thank you, moon, for showing up at the perfect moment. Thank you for letting me experience this – with this wonderful couple and, of course, the fantastic team.

Last but not least: the small, intimate party at the finca. The romantic lighting bathed the location in a warm, inviting glow, and the atmosphere was simply amazing. It was an evening full of closeness, intimacy, and pure joy.

What’s special about a small guest list? It creates an atmosphere that’s simply unbeatable. Every hug, every conversation, every glance – everything feels more personal and intense. You truly have time for each guest, and the guests feel closer to each other. This intimate atmosphere makes every celebration something very special and creates moments you’ll never forget.
