authentic over perfect

What Does Authenticity Have to Do with (Wedding) Photography?

When do you feel most comfortable in front of the camera? Probably when you can simply be yourself – relaxed, laughing, living in the moment. That’s exactly what I aim for in wedding photography: capturing real, unfiltered memories.

The term authentic comes from Greek and means “real, genuine, reliable, and credible.” But authenticity is more than just a word – it means not pretending, knowing your own strengths and weaknesses, and not trying to meet others’ expectations. Being authentic means staying true to yourself.

That’s why it’s so important to me that we get to know each other before your wedding. Only when you feel comfortable will natural, emotional photos emerge that tell your story exactly as it happened. For me, authentic wedding photography doesn’t just capture moments – it captures the feeling of the day.

When you feel free and relaxed on your wedding day, when you can truly enjoy each moment, it shows in the photos. And that’s exactly what I want to create for you: memories that feel real – and that you’ll want to look back on again and again.

Let’s meet and capture your story together!
