Wann fühlst Du dich vor der Kamera am wohlsten? Wahrscheinlich dann, wenn du einfach Du selbst sein kannst – entspannt, lachend, im Moment lebend. Genau darum geht es für mich in der Hochzeitsfotografie: echte, unverfälschte Erinnerungen festzuhalten.
Der Begriff authentisch stammt aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet „echt, unverfälscht, zuverlässig und glaubwürdig“. Doch Authentizität ist mehr als nur ein Wort – sie bedeutet, sich nicht zu verstellen, die eigenen Stärken und Schwächen zu kennen und sich nicht danach zu richten, was andere erwarten. Wer authentisch ist, bleibt sich selbst treu.
Deshalb ist es mir so wichtig, dass wir uns vor eurer Hochzeit kennenlernen. Denn nur wenn ihr euch wohlfühlt, entstehen natürliche, emotionale Bilder, die eure Geschichte so erzählen, wie sie wirklich passiert ist. Für mich bedeutet authentische Hochzeitsfotografie, nicht nur Momente festzuhalten, sondern auch das Gefühl dieses Tages.

What Does Authenticity Have to Do with (Wedding) Photography?
When do you feel most comfortable in front of a camera? Probably when you can just be yourself—relaxed, laughing, living in the moment. That’s exactly what authenticity means to me in wedding photography.
The word „authentic“ comes from Greek and means „genuine, unaltered, real, reliable, and trustworthy.“ Being truly yourself takes courage—it means knowing your strengths and weaknesses, not worrying about what others think, and sometimes even laughing at yourself. It also means staying true to who you are, without pretending to be someone else.
That’s why getting to know each other before your wedding is so important to me. I want to create photos and videos that feel real—true to life, just as you experienced the moment. If you know me, you know I love capturing the joy of the present. And that’s not just about the images; it’s about how you feel during the shoot.
