Wir haben alle im voraus direkt mit der Unterkunft <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontherocksbl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8222;On the Rocks&#8220;<\/a> gekl\u00e4rt und ausgemacht und wurden dementsprechend von einem Fahrer in Medan am Flughafen abgeholt. Die Fahrt dauerte etwa 4 Stunden und kostete umgerechnet ca. 40 Euro. Als wir dort ankamen dachten wir erst, es w\u00e4re ein Scherz, dass wir die letzten 15 Minuten zu Fu\u00df bergauf gehen m\u00fcssen. 300 Stufen bei 32 Grad. W\u00e4re ja ohne Gep\u00e4ck kein Problem, aber wir hatten f\u00fcr unsere 4 Wochen ziemlich viel dabei :-). Zum Gl\u00fcck gab es aber ein paar starke M\u00e4nner, die sich \u00fcber etwas Taschengeld freuten, die uns dann geholfen haben. Oben angekommen checkten wir dann in unsere gebuchte Waterfall-H\u00fctte ein, die sehr sauber und ger\u00e4umig war, und machten es uns mit Dschungelmusik in unserem Bett Geckos :-). Um 8:30 Uhr ging es dann am n\u00e4chsten Morgen mit unserem Guide in den Dschungel, um unter anderem nach den Orang Utans Ausschau zu halten. Damit uns nichts in die Hosenbeine schl\u00fcpft, haben wir uns die Socken dr\u00fcber gezogen und uns zum Schutz mit M\u00fcckenspray eingespr\u00fcht. Was \u00fcbrigens nicht so viel genutzt hat. Ich hatte so viele Stiche wie noch nie :-).<\/p>\n<p>Gleich am Anfang unseres Trekkings sehen wir Thomas Leaf Monkeys (nach ihrem Entdecker Thomas benannt) und Pigtail Makaks. Und dann ein paar Minuten sp\u00e4ter sehen wir schon den ersten Orang Utan. So faszinierend diese sch\u00f6nen Tiere in freier Wildbahn zu beobachten.<\/p>\n<p>Es l\u00e4sst sich erahnen, wo der Trampelpfad entlang f\u00fchrt, aber die Wege sind schmal und h\u00e4ufig zugewachsen. Wir sehen Orang Utan Mamas mit ihren Babys, die an der Brust trinken oder versuchen, mutig ihre eigenen \u00c4ste zu erklimmen. Gegen 15:30 Uhr erreichen wir das erste Camp, wo uns ein leckeres Reisgericht gekocht wurde. Unser Badezimmer war der Fluss und mitten im Nirgendwo stand eine Toilette mit Aussicht. Dann hat es leider angefangen zu regnen und wir sind unter unserem M\u00fcckennetz in unsere Schlafs\u00e4cke Luftmatratzen, machen uns Trockenshampoo in die Haare und genie\u00dfen den sch\u00f6nen Ausblick am Flu\u00dfufer mit unserem Fr\u00fcst\u00fcck (trockene Scheiben Toast mit Ei, K\u00e4se, Gurken und Tomaten).<\/p>\n<p>Wir laufen barfu\u00df durch den Fluss der Sone entgegen. Das war sehr idyllisch. Wir sehen wieder Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Orang Utans und laufen durch eine Plantage voller Rubber Trees. Das sind B\u00e4ume aus denen die Einheimischen Latex gewinnen. \u00dcberall stehen an den B\u00e4umen Kokosnussschalen, in die das Latex tropft. Es war unfassbar hei\u00df.
