A wedding in South Tyrol always feels a little like being on holiday. Warm summer air, cypress trees and soft golden light created the perfect setting for this beautiful celebration at Schloss Wangen Bellermont near Bolzano.
The historic castle, the relaxed atmosphere and the stunning views over the South Tyrolean landscape made this day truly unforgettable.
Getting Ready at the Castle
The day started slowly in the beautiful rooms of the castle. Natural light, historic details and the quiet anticipation before the ceremony created a calm and intimate atmosphere.
These moments before everything begins are often some of the most emotional ones of the day.
Outdoor Ceremony at Schloss Wangen Bellermont
The ceremony took place right in front of the castle gates, overlooking the tall cypress trees that give this place its Mediterranean character.
Laughter, a few happy tears and heartfelt vows made this ceremony feel incredibly personal and relaxed.
Joyful & heartfelt Reception
After the ceremony, everyone gathered around the couple to offer heartfelt congratulations. The atmosphere was perfect. There were hugs, laughter, and guests enjoying the afternoon together while delicious finger food was served. Later, a beautifully arranged cake buffet followed, opened by the couple with a champagne tower.
Between conversations, laughter and the view across the South Tyrolean landscape, the terrace filled with a relaxed summer atmosphere.

The castle offers many beautiful spots for couple portraits – from the historic façade to the courtyard and the laid-back pool area.
It’s a perfect place to pause for a moment, enjoy the warm afternoon light and create natural portraits without leaving the venue.
Dinner & Party
The dinner took place in the romantically decorated vaulted rooms — candlelight, round beautifully arranged tables, emotional speeches. This combination of Mediterranean lightness outdoors and elegant intimacy indoors makes the castle such a special wedding venue in South Tyrol.
