Panglao Island – Bohol

Panglao is located in the province of Bohol and is a beautiful base for many wonderful trips by scooter and boat. Our accommodation: North Zen Villas. The resort, the pool area, the room—everything was stunning and absolutely recommended.

There’s also a beautiful 500-meter-long bamboo walkway stretching over the water, with the option to do yoga. Of course, we took advantage of it the very next morning and walked out there for sunrise.

Afterwards, we rented a scooter and set off to explore the beaches.

We also highly recommend the Bohol Inland Tour, which we booked. The first stop was the Chocolate Hills, though we already loved the drive there through the beautiful scenery. Along the way, we even spotted a mother pig with her 13 adorable piglets!

Other stops included the Tarsier Sanctuary, where you can admire the world’s smallest monkeys, and the Loboc River.
